Two Siberians taken to hospital – one of them was confirmed tick-borne encephalitis
In Novosibirsk has registered the first case of tick-borne encephalitis this year, the patient delivered to the hospital.
“While one case confirmed officially. Male heavy, with positive dynamics”, – told the correspondent NGS chief doctor of city clinical hospital № 1, chief infectionist of NSO Larisa Pozdnyakova.
The chief doctor said that the hospital is another patient with suspected encephalitis.
“He’s in satisfactory condition, continues diagnosis”, she added.
Yesterday management of Rospotrebnadzora in the Novosibirsk region announced that the region at the beginning of may 2018 registered more than 800 tick bites. The Ministry also called areas of the city and region of Novosibirsk bite most often.
