Two Novosibirsk universities, Novosibirsk state University and Novosibirsk state technical University, ranked among the best universities in the developing countries of the world by the British magazine Times Higher Education.
Novosibirsk state University entered the top 50 world ranking of universities
Analysts evaluated the universities on 13 performance indicators, including the level of teaching, research, citation frequency and international cooperation. The results of a study published may 9 in the official rating website timeshighereducation.com.
Just got a list of 378 universities from 42 countries. Among them were 27 Russian universities. NSU has occupied 43-e a place, NSTU was in the group of universities occupying places 201-250. Specific places in the ranking is specified only for the first two hundred universities.
The best among universities in developing countries, according to rankings became Peking University (China). In second place is another Chinese University – Tsinghua University. Closed the first three ranking Lomonosov Moscow state University.
Leader in the number of universities included in the ranking are China (63 per University), in second place is India (42), the third – Brazil (32).
Earlier three schools of Novosibirsk are in the international ranking of universities Round University Ranking, while the University has dramatically strengthened its position, rising over the year by 43 lines.
