Vernon Shaw, co-creator of Dream Daddy, has announced via the PlayStation Blog that the «dad dating simulator» will release on console. Dream Daddy: Dadrector’s Cut will be available for PlayStation 4 on October 30 alongside an update to the PC release
In Dream Daddy, players take the role of a recently transplanted single father who realizes that every one of his new neighbors is a «single, dateable dad.» Players decide which of the dads they want to pursue, and this interactive visual novel has «a variety of paths and endings» for players to discover.
Shaw provides a few details on what fans can expect from Dream Daddy: Dadrector’s Cut:
The Dadrector’s Cut features cut content, new sidequests, the ability to replay minigames that you’ve discovered throughout the game, and a brand-new minimgame for your enjoyment!
Dream Daddy was a bit of a sensation in 2017, receiving critical praise for its writing and humor, and Shaw’s post notes that «for one day it managed to outsell PUBG as the most-bought PC game on Steam.»
Dream Daddy: Dadrector’s Cut is a chance for a whole new audience to get out there and date some Dads.
