If you own a PlayStation 4, sooner or later you’ll probably need at least one other controller. Whether you want to add a couch co-op partner or the battery dies in the one you’re using, it’s always good to have a spare around. The biggest problem is that DualShock 4 controllers are expensive. But thanks to Black Friday, everyone’s favorite time to buy gifts for themselves-er-others people, you can get PS4 controllers at a sizable discount. The only question is where you can find a deal.
Luckily for anyone on the hunt for an extra controller (or three, because Overcooked 2 is amazing), most of the big video game retailers are offering DualShock 4 PS4 controllers for $40 (down from $60). They even come in an array of colors, which makes it easy to tell which controller is yours. If you’re in the UK, Amazon has the controller for £35. Here’s where you can get one for cheap.
Most of those sale prices are available now, but some will go into effect on Thursday or Black Friday. You can see when all the Black Friday deals start here. Note that some retailers have been pushing their deals live early to get a leg up on the competition.
