China is underestimating the resolve of U.S. President

The main White house adviser warned China that he did not underestimate the determination of the President of the United States Donald trump in the trade battle between the two biggest economies in the world amid threats of Beijing to impose retaliatory tariffs on $60 billion of goods from the United States, reports Reuters.

“They better not underestimate the President, said Larry Kudlow in an interview with Fox Business Network. – It will be tough.”

China has previously stated that he is ready to impose additional tariffs for 5207 products imported from the United States, from liquefied natural gas to some aircraft.

This move was prompted by the threat from Washington earlier this week to raise tariffs on Chinese goods worth $200 billion to 25% from 10%.

Kudlow, head of the national economic Council the White house, said that China is becoming increasingly isolated on the trade arena, and Washington is moving toward trade deals with the European Union and Mexico.

“We’re going along with the European Union for an agreement with him, so we will have a United front against China, and I think a large part of our sales team will tell you that we are close to Mexico, he said. – China is increasingly isolated from its weak economy.”

Last week, the United States has an unexpected deal on trade, under which Washington agreed not to impose new tariffs on imports from the EU, warning of a possible 25% tax on imported cars, which is considering the administration of the trump.

Kudlow told Bloomberg that the US and Europe are making progress in their trade talks and may announce some agreements within the next month.
