North Korea has not only achieved progress in the dismantling of facilities used to launch nuclear missiles, but her actions seem to go beyond the commitments agreed at the meeting of U.S. President Donald trump with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN. This was reported on the 38North website, which monitors nuclear activity of North Korea.

Pictures from commercial satellites of 3 August show that since the last observations on a rocket range Sohe conducted further work on dismantling he said 38 North, Joseph Bermudez.
According to him, the North Koreans continued to disassemble the stand for testing vertical motors, which were used for testing and development of engines for ballistic missiles and space launch vehicles. They also, apparently, removed fuel and oxidizing tanks removed from the bunkers.
Meanwhile, work continues at the site to launch rockets. While two thirds of the West wall and a third North wall was demolished.

“Although the activity at the launch pad, appears to be associated with the dismantling of…, we cannot exclude the possibility that this could be the beginning of a project to change the structure for other purposes,” – said 38 North.
“While the dismantling of the stand for testing vertical motors represents the fulfillment of the agreement, Chairman Kim, President trump, which was publicly announced during a press conference after the summit in Singapore, activities on the launch pad, it seems, is beyond the scope of this obligation”, – reported on its website.
However, these actions should be carefully considered as a “first steps” because they are not permanent or irreversible in nature,” reads the statement 38 North.
As reported “Vesti.Economy”, a historic meeting between U.S. President Donald trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN was held on June 12 in Singapore.
According to Kim, at the summit of the heads of the two countries “decided to leave the past behind.” Trump has promised that the denuclearization of North Korea will start “very soon”.
After returning from the summit the us President said that North Korea no longer poses a nuclear threat and is not the “biggest and most dangerous problem for the United States.”

The U.S. air force entered into a second contract worth about $480 million with Lockheed Martin on system Missiles & Fire Control on the development of a prototype hypersonic weapon. As ZeroHedge writes, it will move five times faster than the speed of sound to overcome Russian and Chinese missile defense systems.
According to a statement by U.S. air force contract will cover the design, testing and support readiness for the production of weapons of rapid response air-based (AARW).
“We’re going to move quickly and to use the best technology available for hypersonic capabilities for the US air force as soon as possible,” said Secretary of the air force Heather A. Wilson.
AARW program currently includes work on two prototypes of hypersonic weapons. Projects are implemented under the control of the U.S. air force. 18 APR Lockheed first received a contract worth $929 million of the Money was allocated for the development and production of hypersonic non-nuclear cruise missiles (HCSW), new weapons systems, air-based.
As reported in the release of the parties announcing the contract, 28 June representatives of the Ministry of defense, missile defense Agency, air force, Navy and army signed a Memorandum on joint work on the development of technology “hypersonic missile glide weapon.”
“We need to push the boundaries of technology and to take this height in this age of competition of great powers and limits”, – said the air force chief of staff General David L. Goldfine.
In the US air force stated that the second contract is an indefinite contract, to allow Lockheed to immediately begin work. The final price and the agreed terms will be agreed later this year.
The second contract specifies that Pentagon officials realize that American exceptionalism is eroding, while the competitors are the US, Russia and China are implementing more advanced hypersonic national programme, says ZeroHedge.
