Police in the terrorist organization Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, have arrested the leader of the Islamic State-affiliated group Ahfad HaShaba, Nour Isa.
Isa was on the wanted list for more than a year at the request of Egypt . In addition, his group is responsible for the rocket attacks on Israeli territory.
According to the Al-Quds newspaper, Isa was arrested along with other Salafi leaders in the Gaza Strip — Muhammad Abu Shurah, Talat Abu Jazar and Hassani al-Khilla.
More than 50 Hamas fighters took part in the arrest operation , who stormed al-Hilla’s house in Rafah, where a meeting of Salafi leaders was taking place.
A significant amount of weapons were found in the building, according to the Hamas government in Gaza.
