The All-Russian summit of winemakers will be held on Saturday in the Kuban village of Abrau-DyursoABRD and will bring together more than 500 leaders of the viticulture and winemaking business, market experts, government officials, the Abrau-Dyurso Wine Tourism Center reports.
«This year, we plan to unite in an open dialogue more than 500 leaders of the viticulture and wine business, market experts, representatives of legislative and executive authorities,» the words of the Ombudsman for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Union of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia Boris Titov.
Within the framework of the summit, an annual open meeting of the Union of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia and an informal discussion will take place, to which the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev is invited to participate.
It is noted that on the sidelines of the summit, the current situation, the government’s plans to support the industry and how they meet the needs of entrepreneurs, the vision of the further development of the industry from the point of view of manufacturers and government representatives will be discussed. «By the way, we are expecting the highest-ranking officials from the leading specialized departments at the summit,» Titov added.
The participants of the event will discuss the synchronization of federal and regional sectoral development programs with real business expectations, the use of state funds and significant private investments in the development of viticulture and winemaking with the maximum benefit for the industry; consolidation of large wine-making enterprises and peasant farms in a single industry space and other topics.
Within the framework of the summit, an exhibition of wine products will also be organized , at which all styles and trends of domestic wine-making art from more than 40 producers of the Kuban, Don and Lower Volga, Dagestan, Stavropol, Crimea and Sevastopol will be presented. It is specified that the summit will sum up the interim results of the wine-making year, experts will mark the best wine in Russia, which will be determined the day before, during a tasting competition.
The organizers of the VII All-Russian Summit of Winemakers are the NGO «Union of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia» (SVVR), the Russian Wine House «Abrau-Dyurso» with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the administration of the Krasnodar Territory.
