Constantine Andrikopulos, Director for development Bosco Di Cilegi, and his wife Olga and I are avid travelers. But even more than to travel around the world, they like to document their trip. Travel notes from Saint Tropez to Constantine conveyed PEOPLETALK.
Nice – it’s almost Russia. In the local village of Villefranche-sur-Mer, recall, 10 years on the promontory of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Andrey Fomin held the legendary Bal des Fleurs. But we still tried to open for myself something new here. And started with gastronomy. Fish restaurant by the sea Palm is a godsend!
However, here the Association with Russia is not to get rid of. The owner of the Palm – Georgians! So feel free to take a complement to fish dishes delicious khachapuri on the basis of a combination of French cheeses.
Chateau de la Messardiere
After lunch we went to Saint-Tropez to celebrate my birthday. Literally 10 minutes from the beach, on top of the hills of Saint-Tropez, is located the estate, offering stunning views of the Golfe of Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle. Away from the hustle and bustle of Saint-Tropez – hotel inside the castle Chateau de la Messardiere. And of course we enjoyed the SPA.
In the twentieth century this castle was presented as a gift to Henry Brisson de La Messardière on the occasion of his wedding with Louise, DePuy d Aniak, a French artist.
Château de la Messardière
A place with such an aura and a story filled with emotion. The territory of the Chateau does not want to leave, but to walk in Saint Tropez – great fun. This fish market I have never seen!
But you can still look stunning chef of the restaurant L’acacia, see the beautiful lake with swans and ducks, and relax by the pool where the temperature at any time of the year is maintained at 28 degrees.
Restaurant L Accacia
We had dinner in the restaurant L’acacia. Ravioli with crab there is not similar to ravioli – they are open! Dessert – passion fruit mousse with a glass of Chateau d’yquem. Our journey could not be confined to the walls of the castle. So of course, we visited the azure sea. Its temperature, however, in September only 20 degrees. And on the beach you can very tasty lunch at the restaurant Plage Tropezina.
So they passed three days. Then we headed to our next stop on the Cote d’azur in the direction of Provence, in the surroundings medieval towns, Arles, Les Baux-de-Provence and Saint-Remy-de-Provence, located just two hours drive from Saint-Tropez.
