The head of JP Morgan advised Trump to declare an emergency in the US infrastructure

According to Jamie Daimon, the head of the largest US bank in terms of assets, the US president “needs to declare a state of emergency” and hold a number of government programs in the United States, like during World War II.

The chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of JP Morgan Chase said this in an interview with CNN.

“We need to gather all the leaders in one room and say — we have a problem. If I were the President of the United States, I would declare a state of emergency in the country. We have a state of emergency in the infrastructure and schools of many cities within the country. I would run programs like during World War II and declare a state of emergency on infrastructure and education.

If I remember correctly, these problems already cost us $ 100 billion a year.

This is not to say that we did not try to solve these problems, but at the current stage we just need to make progress in solving these problems. We need the correct execution of the right programs. Or we will not help these children in troubled schools, and we will not build bridges and other facilities, and we certainly will not eliminate the problem of inequality in the USA. ”
