When searching for images for World Water Day, we asked ourselves the question: What does “leaving no one behind” in images look like? When you think of images for World Water Day, you generally will think of images of lakes, rivers, and oceans. But what about the people?

The problem in our environment, is that today billions of people are still living without safe water in households, schools, workplaces, farms, and factories. In 2010, the UN recognized “the right to safe and clean drinking water and sanitation as a human right that is essential for the full enjoyment of life and all human rights.”
