Roxy Jacenko reveals cancer medication gives hot sweats

Appearing on KIIS FM’s Kyle And Jackie O Show, the mother-of-two spoke candidly about her recovery process, revealing that she underwent a six-week period before taking Tamoxifen, a medication used to prevent breast cancer.

Her life changed dramatically after she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

And Roxy Jacenko, 37, has revealed just how difficult life has become following her diagnosis, admitting that her cancer-blocking medication has brought on an uncomfortable side-effect.

‘Roxy has the hot sweats!’ Appearing on KIIS FM’s Kyle And Jackie O Show this Tuesday, Roxy Jacenko, 37m, revealed that her breast cancer-blocking medication has given her hot sweats

‘I’m glad it’s 16 degrees in here because I feel like I’m 70 degrees at all times from this medication,’ she told the radio shock-jocks.

‘I’m hot every day! I’ll have it for ten years, it’s a cancer blocker. I was very young to get cancer, so Tamoxifen is something that pushes you into early menopause,’ she explained.

‘So you can imagine- you know of the mother’s that get hot sweats? Roxy has the hot sweats!’
