Freezing for debts: residents of an entire neighborhood turned off heating and hot water

In the “Svetly” microdistrict in the Moshkovsky district, heating and hot water were cut off ahead of schedule – they owe several million for gas supplies.

“Since May 4, the heating has been completely turned off and, at the same time, hot water,” Stanislav, a resident of the microdistrict, told the NGS correspondent. – Although officially the heating season continues. The apartments are not only uncomfortable, but very cold. Children in outerwear are walking around, it is especially cold in the morning, my child is sick. ”

About 3 thousand people live in the microdistrict – all of them were left without heat and hot water, and the kindergarten was heated with diesel fuel at the expense of the developer

According to him, the temperature in the apartments is + 10 … + 15 degrees at night. Together with the heating in the houses, hot water was also turned off – the management company Soglasie answered the residents’ questions that this was due to debts for gas supplies to Gazprom.

A similar situation developed in the microdistrict last summer: then the total amount of debt was almost 10 million rubles. Now, the general director of the financial and construction association “Osnova”, which includes the developer of the microdistrict “Antar” and the MC “Soglasie”, Svetozar Darnev, told the NGS correspondent, the total debt of residents to the Criminal Code has already exceeded 10 million rubles, of which about 3.7 million are arrears for gas.

“We gave them (the management company – LP) a loan so that they could pay off <…> at least the main part, and Gazprom promised to provide gas,” Darnev assured, specifying that the amount of the debt was reduced to 2.5 million rubles … “But only those houses that have a positive tendency in payments or minimal debt will be connected.”

According to the head of the association, the resource-supplying organization promised to return the gas to the houses by May 9, but the work was delayed. He also noted that it is possible to do without turning off the hot water in the summer, and the company is making efforts to this, in particular by working with debtors.

In Novosibirsk, they decided not to turn off the heating: as the mayor’s office reported today, heat will be supplied to the houses until warm weather sets in.
