A $68 million Miami penthouse is on track to become the most expensive piece of real estate ever sold in Florida.
According to public information obtained by The Wall Street Journal, the current real-estate record was set by a $60 million penthouse that purchased by hedge-fund executive Ken Griffin in 2015.
Designed by architect Renzo Piano, the mastermind behind Paris’ Centre Georges Pompidou modern art complex, the ultra-luxe penthouse boasts 12,000 square feet of interior space illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows and an additional 18,000 square feet of outdoor terrace space.
With six bedrooms, three powder rooms and eight bathrooms, there’s more than enough room for multiple guests. Other luxury amenities include two infinity pools, a Jacuzzi, a personal fitness center and two summer kitchens.
Eighty Seven Park is an hour north of the most expensive zip code in the state, Fisher Island, widely regarded as the most millionaire-dense area in America.
