This stunning hybrid SUV boasts clean lines, semi-autonomous tech and plenty of horsepower.
Lincoln has endowed the brand-new Aviator with clean lines, electric power and new levels of luxury.
The three-row, mid-size SUV made its glorious debut at the LA Auto Show. As Jalopnik notes, the base model runs a twin-turbocharged V6 that produces a formidable 400 horsepower.
But in the Grand Touring version, the engine is incorporated into a hybrid powertrain that brings 50 more horses to the party. An adaptive suspension that uses a front-facing camera to read changes to terrain and make adjustments accordingly helps handle the power.
Semi-autonomous features that are becoming commonplace in premium vehicles are programmed into the Aviator’s software. They include lane centering, steering assist, and adaptive cruise control.
