Worth Reading Wednesday: Enticing the Shopper

wrw cbHow each gift shop owner merchandises their products in order to entice customers varies according to the theme of the store, the target customer and even the location of the store. However, with bigger retailers such as Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn, the marketing tips seem to be tried and true, if you will, across the board. These stores look to appeal to shoppers who are there for purchases of flatware, candles and other small items that more or less pull the room together.
