Get ready, trainers. A brand-new Pokemon movie is making its way stateside this November. Partnering with Fathom Events, The Pokemon Company today announced that Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us, an animated film starring Ash and Pikachu, will make its Western debut in select U.S. theaters as a limited release.
As of this writing, tickets were not on sale and specific theaters had not been announced. However, fans interested in catching the release can sign up here for updates.
Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us follows a unique storyline that sees Ash and Pikachu (of course) battling nefarious forces in an idyllic seaside town. During a festival extolling the legendary pokemon Lugia, the dynamic duo teams up with a rag-tag group to do what they do best: save the world.
Known as Pokemon the Movie: Everyone’s Story in Japan, Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us will screen in select theaters on the following dates later this year:
