President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced plans “to replace all the government” because of the failure of his orders.
During the meeting with government on Tuesday, August 14, Alexander Lukashenko criticized the number of Ministers, demanding “to make proposals for the replacement of the entire leadership of the government.”
In fact, his resignation was sent to the Minister of industry and Minister of architecture and construction. According to the Agency “BelTA”, other Ministers, Alexander Lukashenko, “just warned”:
“The reason for the failure of the instructions is pofigizmom the government’s attitude to the orders of the President. So this week to make proposals on the replacement of the entire leadership of the government, all the tops of the cadre that formed me. Stop looking them in the mouth, and they will tell us how hard, how hard!
There were different points of view, but we came to agreed decisions. No one objected and a half-two years ago. Therefore the more need to answer the question of why the agreed decisions, formalized by the head of state was not fulfilled? From meeting the desired objective assessments and concrete proposals on issues that require solutions. Why failed and not executed orders of the President? Other issues I before you put. I don’t try to paint a rosy picture till 2025 and 2035 years.

Novak: the main condition for the transit of gas through Ukraine – settlement of litigation
In an interview with TV channel “Russia 24” the head of Ministry of Russia noted that the main condition for the continuation of gas supplies through the Ukrainian territory after 2020 is a settlement of ongoing litigation. Alexander Novak called last in Berlin tripartite negotiations constructive. The next round of negotiations will take place in October 2018
– Alexander V., good day! Just passed negotiations – or rather consultations on the transit of Russian gas to the EU. What are the first results?
– Really, just that talks were held. They were in a fairly constructive manner, with both the European Commission and with our Ukrainian colleagues discussed the possibility of gas transit in 2020, after you have completed the contract to supply gas to European consumers through Ukraine.
In General, we exchanged information on our positions. Our position, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, it is clear: we are ready to ensure the continuation of the contract beginning in 2020, the Main condition is the settlement of all differences which today are still considered in the Stockholm arbitration court, and in order that we might clearly understand the terms of the contract in 2020, and changes in legislation that occur in Ukraine, transit conditions, we have agreed that in October we will hold the next consultation.
The main result of our negotiations – we will continue this work in order to find compromise solutions that would be advantageous to gas suppliers, in particular the Russian Federation, as well as European consumers, taking into account the overall development of the transmission infrastructure and the possibility of use of gas transport infrastructure of Ukraine.
– Did you talk about any clear numbers? Earlier the head of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller said that considered the option of supplying 10-15 billion cubic meters of gas per year (through Ukrainian territory – approx. ed.) or until the specific figures of the question?
In the end the numbers we agreed on. To do this, and will work an expert group from among our representatives, representatives of the European Union and Ukraine. We generally discussed the further growth of gas consumption in Europe. Even more will be to increase imports, because domestic production falls. The increase in gas exports from Russia may reach 10% to 15%.
