Meanwhile, the Economics Minister of Germany and former head of the Federal Chancellery Peter Altmaier (Peter Altmaier) said that the work the BAMF often been the subject of discussions at Federal and state levels, but about the scandal in Bremen, he learned only from the media.

A serious conflict on the issue of refugees appeared in the ruling bloc of Germany, the CDU/CSU. Chairman of the CDU Angela Merkel, however, favours a European solution to this problem.

Earlier, Horst Seehofer has threatened in case of emergency to implement his plan against the will of Merkel. This resulted in speculation about the threat of the collapse of the ruling German coalition.

The leadership of the CDU in search of a compromise with CSU

The leadership of the CDU is trying to find a compromise with his colleagues in the faction.
