New case of poisoning in the UK – the same poison which is believed to be poisoned former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter. The main questions and answers from DW.In the UK recorded the second case of poisoning with nerve substance of the group “Beginner”, with the statement of 4 July made counter-terrorism the management of the Scotland Yard. Developed in the USSR, the poison was the cause of poisoning two people in the British town of Amesbury and 12 miles from Salisbury, where on March 4, 2018, was poisoned by a former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia. Who was the victim of a “Newbie”?
Victims of the poisoning was a British couple – a 44-year-old resident of Salisbury, don C. and 45-year-old Charlie R. from Amesbury (in the German press called the full names of the victims). They know that they were unemployed, got together a few months ago, everyone at the time of their acquaintance was a child.
With symptoms of poisoning victims in hospital on Saturday, June 30. The first was a bad don, a few hours later deteriorated as Charlie. At first, the doctors thought that the reason for entering the hospital was receiving both low-quality drugs or overdosing. Victims are being treated at the same clinic where he was treated Sergey and Yulia Skrobala. Their condition is described as critical.
Where in the UK took the poison?
After the doctors came to the conclusion that the symptoms of poisoning resemble those of the affected pair that is known to poison Skrobala, involved chemists from the laboratory of the Ministry of defence Porton Down. They confirmed that the two new victims were poisoned as a result of action of a substance called “Beginner”.
How they were poisoned, is still unknown. An informal working version of the investigation it is believed that they could fall into the hands of a syringe or other container in which the poison was stored, previously used against Skrobala.
A search of the source of toxic substances are intensively involved in counter-terrorism, the office of Scotland Yard. Police have refrained from making statements, “is the nerve agent is part of the same batch that was used against Skrypalia”.
As a new case associated with poisoning Skrobala?
There are two obvious connecting link: the territorial proximity of the two events and the type of toxic substances. According to the British police, there is no evidence that in the days before the poisoning victims were located on the territory, which were previously recorded traces of a nerve toxin of the group of “Novice” and where the poisoning occurred Skrobala. There is also no evidence of any connection with the victims Kripalani.

However, the investigation examines the possible connection between the two poisoning, police said.
Are there any developments in the investigation Skrobala?
Officially – no. The last statement about the investigation, Scotland Yard did back in June. But it said only about the huge amount of work done by a consequence. Nevertheless, on 2 July, the British newspaper the Sun published an article that, citing police sources, said that in the case of the poisoning of former Russian double agent and the British intelligence service, Sergei Skripal and his daughter appeared the suspects are two men who supposedly “surely have a close relationship with Russia.”
The newspaper said that both have left the UK within 24 hours after the assassination attempt and are now in Russia. Scotland Yard has not confirmed nor denied the information in this publication. Until now, the British police announced that identified the suspects. Injured Sergey and Yulia Skripal after treatment, which lasted several weeks, was discharged from the hospital. Their location is held by the British authorities in secret.
London again suspected of poisoning Russia?
In the case of poisoning a British couple are no new accusations by the British authorities in Moscow did not arrive. London, however, urged the Kremlin to assist in the investigation.
The UK continues to consider Russia responsible for the attack on Skrobala. Evidence which would confirm these accusations, has not been submitted. The Russian authorities all charges in the address categorically reject.

There is a risk that “Newbie” hurt other people?
Residents of Amesbury, especially the neighbors, a British couple, poisoned, according to Scotland Yard, “the Rookie”, according to the testimony of reporters, very scared.
