The Parliament of Portugal approved the legalization of medical marijuana

The Parliament of Portugal voted to legalize marijuana for medical purposes.

The text of the bill was prepared by deputies of the left block and supported by all parliamentary groups except for the right CDS, which abstained.

The document provides for “legalization “of medical products, preparations and substances based on plants of cannabis for medical purposes”. In this case we are talking about drugs based on marijuana, not the plants themselves that are intended to be used with medical purpose.
