Ukrainian singer, leader of group “Ocean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, who returned to Ukraine from the USA, commented on the rumors about his possible participation in the presidential race, the elections in Ukraine.
Vakarchuk reported an interview with Elle.
“Just to close the topic. I always get asked regarding my presence in the political rankings, presidential ambitions, the desire or unwillingness to stand for election. And the story that, that I have not answered you would not believe,” said the singer.
According to him, he discussed features of the current situation in Ukraine, why is the situation so complex and why it may not be a specific ready of the way, the foreign experience that we could pick up and move on yourself.
“We have a lot of features, many details that must be taken into account”, – said Vakarchuk.
He half lived in the United States, where he studied and taught at Stanford University.
