Property developers have used a bizarre marketing technique to promote new flats — superimposing a picture of Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise onto their advert.
The hilarious photoshop gaffe by developers Sterling Rose, uses an image of Tom Cruise’s ex-wife Katie and youngest daughter Suri, taken in New York in 2012.
The poster was spotted in South Norwood, south London — just two-and-a-half miles from where Isabella Cruise, Tom’s older daughter, lives.
Bemused locals took to social media to mock the strange hoarding.

Locals in Croydon have taken to social media to poke fun at the hilarious photoshop gaffe.
Mark Shergold joked: ‘Isn’t that Keanu Reeves brushing his teeth on the second floor balcony?’
And Shushan Donobedian quipped: ‘Stars! They’re just like you and me.’
But a spokesman for Sterling Rose claims it was a ‘genuine error’ and they were ‘not aware’ it was an image of a celebrity.
The developer’s spokesman said: ‘Unfortunately, this is the first time this has been raised to us.
‘I have now reviewed the photo and CGI. I can state that this is a genuine error.
‘I have contacted the firm that provided the CGI to us, they were not aware that this was an image of a celebrity and we will now be removing the CGI with immediate effect.’
It is not the first time that an artist’s impression for a new south London development has sparked hilarity.
In 2015, an ad cheekily showed new flats above exclusive retail outlets including Italian fashion house Emporio Armani and jeweller Cartier — in Camberwell, south London.

The brownfield development in Croydon is a far cry from Katie’s six-bedroom luxury home that she bought for £3million in Los Angeles.
