Bank «Zenith» pledges a 5% share of the authorized capital of «VIM-Avia»

The share of 5% of the authorized capital of VIM-Avia Airlines LLC is pledged in Zenit Bank, it follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

Rashid Mursekaev owns a 1% stake in the airline, his wife Svetlana — 99%.

Earlier, Zenit Bank denied information about plans to lend to VIM-Avia. Prior to this, information appeared in the media with reference to informed sources that Tatneft TATN, the government of Tatarstan and Zenit Bank agreed to finance a number of flights of the airline.

The situation with VIM-Avia flights worsened on September 23 due to debts. Several tens of thousands of the carrier’s customers in the Russian Federation and abroad have encountered problems. Under the control of the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency, other airlines were connected to the removal of passengers.

At present, VIM-Avia has fully completed its international charter program, and only a few flights to the Far East remain on the domestic regular lines. After October 15, the airline will cease flights.
