Part of the stake of the main owner of VIM-Avia, Svetlana Mursekaeva, was pledged to Zenit Bank. This was reported to TASS by a source in the airline.
According to him, the bank has a 5% stake in the company. Also, the fact that part of the package is pledged to the Zenit bank was confirmed to TASS by two other sources close to the airline.
«5% of the share in the charter capital of VIM-Avia is pledged to Zenit Bank,» a source in VIM-Avia told TASS. Now 1% of the airline belongs to Rashid Mursekaev, 99% belongs to his wife Svetlana. 5% of Svetlana’s share was pledged to Zenit.
The TASS source estimates the company’s total debt to the bank at 3.1 billion rubles.
