The national team of Ukraine U-21 did not keep the victory over the Netherlands

Viktor Kovalenko opened the scoring against the Netherlands. Golovko’s wards played their first home qualifying match for Euro 2019.

The Ukrainian youth team failed to defeat their peers from the Netherlands in the qualifying round match for Euro 2019.

This was the first home match of Alexander Golovko’s wards in the current qualifying cycle.

In the first half, the Ukrainians acted more actively and opened the scoring – from the penalty spot for playing with a hand in his own penalty, the Netherlands punished Kovalenko.

However, in the second half our team got hooked, more often it began to lose to the Dutch in speed and martial arts. The Netherlands took advantage of this only once, when De Jong ran down the right flank and gave it to Kluivert, who could only “shoot” the gate.

After three rounds of qualification, the “blue-yellow” have 5 points. In November, they will stand an away match against the leader of the England squad.
