The traditional blessing of the Kohanim took place at the Western Wall

On Sunday, October 8, the traditional blessing of the Kohens took place near the Wailing Wall, in which thousands of Jewish believers took part — representatives of the ancient family of temple priests, descendants of the High Priest Aaaron, brother of Moses.

On the days of Passover and Sukkot, representatives of the ancient clan of Kohens hide in tallits and say a prayer near the preserved western wall of the Temple, mentioning the services that were conducted at the first and second Jerusalem Temples.

In the morning hours, hundreds of Jews climbed the Temple Mount. During these events, no incidents were recorded.
