TASS, October 14. “Columbus” beat “New York Rangers” 3-1 in the home game of the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL), the Russian forward of “Columbus” Artemy Panarin scored the first goal in the Ohio club and brought victory to his team.
The Rangers goal was scored by Kevin Hayes (15th minute). In “Columbus” distinguished Seth Jones (40), Panarin (48) and Lucas Sedlak (60).
Panarin spent 18 minutes in the match, the 25-year-old Russian scored the first goal in the team, which eventually became the winner in the match. He also scored six shots on the Rangers goal. Russian goalkeeper, “Columbus” Sergei Bobrovsky, who became the best goalkeeper of the past season, scored 37 out of 38 shots on goal and was recognized as the first star of the meeting. In the summer, “Chicago” and “Columbus” made an exchange , as a result of which “Columbus” received Panarin from Chicago, as well as striker Tyler Mott and the choice in the sixth round of the 2017 draft. In exchange, “Chicago” received forward Brandon Saad, goalkeeper Anton Forsberg and the choice in the fifth round of the draft pick-2018.
