The Moscow Caucasian Club has become an analogue of “Valdai” on the issues of the North Caucasus

The Moscow Caucasian Club is a good expert platform on issues and problems of the North Caucasian Federal District (NCFD). This opinion was expressed on Friday at a press conference in TASS by the Deputy Minister of Russia for the North Caucasus Mikhail Razvozzhaev.

“It’s great that we have, in fact, our own“ Valdai ”club, when we can gather the main experts and specialists in all spheres of life in the region on any issue. development agenda of the North Caucasus, “Razvozzhaev said.

He noted that the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District have great economic and tourism potential. “There are huge niches in the economy, especially in agriculture, in the food processing industry, niches that, within the framework of import substitution, the North Caucasus can occupy.

This potential must be properly demanded by the country,” he added, noting that in recent years the region has undergone many positive changes and the media should talk about this more often.

The Moscow Caucasian Club was established in 2015 at the initiative of the Center for Contemporary Caucasian Politics. This is a public consultative platform that brings together experts who are ready to assess developments in the development of civil society and the socio-economic development of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, to determine the vectors of the region’s growth, and also to support promising projects in key areas of activity.
