Sheregesh distributors stopped issuing helmets to tourists

There is another problem at the Sheregesh ski resort. This time, one of the tourists told our colleagues from NGS42.RU that it is not possible to rent a helmet at all rental locations. Sheregesh distributors stopped issuing helmets to tourists

Stanislav Zhoglik came to Sheregesh from Omsk. The man went to several rental points on the mountain, but everywhere he was refused a helmet. The reason is coronavirus. Although the governor of the Kemerovo region, Sergei Tsivilev, at the end of November signed an order that Sheregesh entrepreneurs can issue ski equipment.

— I asked the distributors about the governor’s order. They say that there are such conditions for processing masks and helmets that it is more profitable for them not to give them out than to give them out, » said the source of the portal.

Natalya Chernovaya, the owner of one of the largest chains of ski equipment rental shops «Ryder», said that their rental offices issue helmets. But she did not rule out the possibility that other entrepreneurs decided to refuse this service. The reasons may be different, including a small assortment.

— On the contrary, we are trying to make available such essential attributes as helmets and goggles for safe riding. This is in our rental network. Our clothes are still banned for issuance, so we are glad that we can give out helmets to tourists. We receive a lot of calls every day, asking about the issue of ski equipment. Rentals themselves are interested in issuing at least what they can. Especially considering the flow of tourists that we receive this year, — commented Natalya Chernova.

We phoned several rental points in Sheregesh. Some of them reported that the helmets were no longer available, everything was disassembled. Others have confirmed that this inventory is not being issued.

The Kuzbass authorities were allowed to open the ski season in Sheregesh on November 14-15, despite the coronavirus pandemic. On the first day alone, about five thousand tourists managed to visit it. But the authorities banned rental offices from issuing ski equipment, including helmets. Then the entrepreneurs of Sheregesh wrote an appeal addressed to the governor of the Kemerovo region, Sergei Tsivilev.

They expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the new coronavirus restrictions at the ski resort were formed without their participation and published four days before the official opening of the season. In a short time, rentals, hotels and catering had to prepare for work.

Two weeks later, the Governor of the Kemerovo Region Sergey Tsivilev signed another order due to the spread of COVID-19 in the region. This time, he just relaxed the coronavirus restrictions. In particular, the governor allowed tourists to rent ski equipment. These are helmets, goggles, masks, skis, snowboards, boots and poles. But on condition that the tenants will disinfect the inventory after each tourist.
