The head of the VEB.RF corporation, Igor Shuvalov, will head the board of directors of the Skolkovo fund, two RBC sources close to the fund said. Now the post of the chairman of the board of directors of the fund is occupied by Viktor Vekselberg.

Another source close to the management of the fund said that Vekselberg remains on the board. According to him, he will take the position of chairman of the board of trustees of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) — this post will be left by Arkady Dvorkovich.
RBC sent inquiries to VEB.RF. Vekselberg’s spokesman declined to comment.
The owner of the Renova group, Viktor Vekselberg, in March 2010, by decision of Dmitry Medvedev, who was then president, was appointed head of the project to create an innovation center in Skolkovo. In June of the same year, he became president of the Skolkovo Foundation, and in April 2019, he was appointed chairman of the board of directors of the fund. The post of the chairman of the fund is occupied by Arkady Dvorkovich.
At the end of November, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced a reform, within the framework of which an investment block is being created on the basis of VEB.RF, which will be transferred to management, including the Skolkovo Fund.
