In an effort to slash some of those rising prices Skyscanner has released a list of the top destinations to travel to over the break and what days to book your plane ticket.

By hitting that confirm button between October 30 and November 5 you’re only a month away from enjoying some roadside pho and scooting around with a local guide on the back of a motorbike.

When is the best time to book your ticket?
According to Skyscanner, the best time to buy a Christmas flight is during the week of October 22 or eleven weeks out.
Alternatively if you plan on booking a flight on New Years Eve try for the week of October 29.
Bangkok, known as the Asian city that never sleeps, will help you blow the holiday cash you’ve just saved on shopping.
If it’s a more traditional experience you’re after there are hundreds of grand temples like Wat Arun and the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
So while there are savings to be had, there are also quick decisions to be made, as October reigns as the cheapest time to score your best airfare deals.
