'I just don¿t understand why she left him!' Lorraine Kelly questions Louise and Jamie Redknapp's 'split' saying 'there must be more to it'... leaving viewers FURIOUS at her presumptions

Lorraine Kelly showed us exactly how it’s done on her show this morning, wearing a deep purple all-in-one, which is from Phase Eight. We love the twist detail at the front, which works to cinch in the waist and create an hourglass figure. What’s not to love?

It’s even now massively reduced in the sale from £120 to just £35, so don’t wait a second longer to click (right). Simply add a classic pair of court heels and this versatile jumpsuit will take you from desk to dinner.

Or if you’re keen to hop on board the jumpsuit bandwagon, we’ve got four more options lined up for you in the edit below. Mango, Boohoo and Asos have all got season-appropriate hues.

‘I hear what she’s saying, but surely it’s not one or the other. You can have a career and a family,’ Lorraine said, referring to Louise’s recent revelation that she had ‘felt like a Stepford Wife’.

‘It’s really difficult to balance, we know that, but she could have had someone in to help, and he could have done a bit more – she could have had the best of both worlds,’ Lorraine went on.

‘It means your partner has to do a lot to help, but also they’re not exactly poor. She could have someone in to make the dinner.’

‘We don’t know do we, we can only speculate. I just don’t understand why she left him,’ she went on. ‘Why she couldn’t go on tour and say, “Look, I’ve supported you for years but I’m gonna go do Strictly and do this tour and I need you to back me up. But the tour will be finished soon”.

Fury: Lorraine's comments prompted fans of the Redknapps to rush to Twitter and slam the veteran chat show host for her remarks, given that she doesn't know what goes on behind closed doors

‘There must be more to it, I don’t know, we just need to get her in to talk to her! They’ve got two children so I hope they work it out because they’re both lovely people. The Strictly curse.’

This prompted fans of the Redknapps to rush to Twitter and slam the veteran chat show host for her remarks, given that she doesn’t know what goes on behind closed doors.

‘If Louise Redknapp has any sense she’ll turn down any offers of a #lorraine interview after that ripping,’ one person typed, outraged.

‘You know nothing about their marriage!’ came a second furious viewer’s tweet.

Other celebrities have weighed in on Louise and Jamie’s situation over the past few days, since the former Eternal singer, 41, spoke to the Telegraph about her marriage.

But one famous pal backing Louise was Denise Van Outen, who split from her theatre star husband Lee Mead in 2013, after four years of marriage.

She revealed on Monday that it was her stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2012 that helped her realise the existing ‘problems’ in her marriage.

Making the confession on Loose Women, the 43-year-old then added that she ‘takes her hat off’ to Louise – who recently confessed she was living away from her husband Jamie, after the BBC show had opened her eyes to a new lease of life.

Earlier this week, Louise confirmed she was living apart from her footballer husband Jamie, after rediscovering her love for performing following her stint on Strictly last year.

Discussing her confession on the chat show, fellow theatre star Denise admitted she completely understood where Louise was coming from, as the ballroom show helped her realise her own marital woes with then-husband Lee.

She told the panel: ‘I think this happens to a lot of women. I was in a similar situation and there were problems in the marriage before Strictly.’

‘I totally take my hat off to her, she’s held a dignified silence until now.’

Denise had married Lee in the Seychelles in 2009, and the pair went on to welcome a daughter, Betsy, the following year.

However, she confirmed they had parted ways in June 2013 – just six months after being named the runner-up on Strictly’s tenth series.

Denise explained that she identifies a lot with Louise, who was a runner-up on last year’s show, as they have both performed from a young age – meaning it is more painful to give up, when they start a family.

Admitting she could never embark on a romance that does not let her fulfill her passions onstage, she added: ‘I’ve never been a relationship where I could give up work.

‘I moved out to the country for four years, would put Betsy to bed at 8, and then I was just sat there on my own. It’s nice to get back to work to talk to people.’

Opening her eyes: Her comments come after Louise Redknapp admitted she had felt like a ‘Stepford Wife’ with her husband Jamie (above), before she pursued her passion on Strictly

Her comments come just two days after Louise told the Telegraph that she had felt like a ‘Stepford Wife’ with her husband of 20 years, before she pursued her passions on the beloved ballroom show.

She insisted that neither are pushing for a divorce, but admitted she ‘needs’ to be apart from him while she re-evaluates her life, and rediscovers her love of performing.

Louise, who is currently taking the lead as Sally Bowles in the touring production of Cabaret, said: ‘He’s an amazing man and we’ve had 20 good years together. I know he’s trying to understand that I do need to do this.’

Admitting that she’s not sure what this will do to her marriage, she continued: ‘I have no idea what is going to happen, all I know is that I fought for this, it’s taken everything, but this is something I need to do – for me.’
