Thirty-two fourth-year students at the Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy of NRNU MEPhI completed practical training at the Novovoronezh NPP Training and Training Center.
Over the course of three weeks, the specialists of the Nuclear Power Plant Nuclear Station shared with students the experience of working at the station, talked about the systems of the first and second circuits, and security systems.
– We learned a lot of useful and interesting for three weeks of practice. Soon we will all be engineers and go to work at Akkuyu NPP. It is impossible to work at the station without the knowledge that we got here, ”says the head of the group Atahan Kisejik.
Students of the Obninsk Institute of Atomic Energy NRNU MEPhI are future employees of Akkuyu NPP (Turkey). In addition to classes on the basis of USP, trainees visited the observation deck of the innovative 3+ generation power units of the Novovoronezh NPP.
It starts to annoy: Putin will “forget” about the Donbass
Russian President Vladimir Putin will try to benefit from the conflict between Israel and Iran, but will not intervene in it. At the same time, the head of the Kremlin has problems: Russians are afraid of the Third World War, and the topic of Donbass begins to annoy them
I think that Putin will try not to take any side in the conflict between Israel and Iran. No wonder Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netantyahu traveled to Moscow on May 9. They had something to talk about.
Putin is a very pragmatic person. Unification with Iran against Israel will be very costly. Unification with Israel against Iran is also fraught with high costs, because Putin has few allies. And Iran is a poor ally, but still an ally.
Strategically, Putin is interested in tensions in this region. And Putin will be happy to talk with both of them, and let them continue to knock out each other’s teeth, because this process is accompanied by rising oil prices. If sanctions are imposed against Iran, oil supplies to the world market fall, the price of oil rises, and this is useful for Putin’s economy.
The logic here is quite simple: Putin will be equidistant or equally approximate to both sides. However, he is pleased to consider the amount of oil rubles, which continues to increase due to instability in the Middle East.
The escalation in the region, one way or another, will continue because too many interests intersect there. There, after all, not only Iran and Israel, there are also Turkey, Kurds, Saudi Arabia. What is there just missing. One way or another, there will be some kind of conflict. But I think that Putin will try his best not to get involved directly. For example, as China does, which does not directly go into conflicts, but with interest watches from the side. The same states. After all, Russia also does not fight directly, but through the “gaskets”.
Another question: Putin needs to keep in mind that 57 percent of Russian citizens seriously fear that because of Syria, Russia will be drawn into the Third World War with the United States. This is a completely mythological view, but it indirectly shows that the Syrian epic is unpopular in the eyes of Putin’s voters. People do not understand what Russia is doing there, what interests it pursues. Here is the conflict around Crimea closer to the Russians. They believe that it was necessary to take away Crimea from Ukraine, since it is “Russian” and so on. That is, Crimean mythology is deeply rooted.
Therefore, from no point of view, Putin is not interested in getting involved in the Middle East conflict. To warm up interest – yes, but to fight it yourself – to a minimum. He already lost a lot in Syria, and if planes, helicopters and people still disappear somewhere, then irritation will accumulate, including among the patriotic Putin electorate. Therefore, he will remotely maintain tension by throwing firewood there.
Another problem for Putin is the Donbass, which is also beginning to annoy people. They try to talk little about Donbass, as well as about Transnistria, because there and there they can’t see victories, and hunters usually don’t talk about defeats. Therefore, the Donbass has become a topic that is far removed from the consciousness of Russians.
Earlier, I have repeatedly said that the situation with a frozen conflict for many years is quite predictable. Putin cannot release the territory, return it to Ukraine, because this will mean that he leaked the Donbass, that he could cede the Crimea, and so on. His base electorate will be disappointed, which he does not want.
Putin cannot accept Donbass to Russia (annex the occupied regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the Apostrophe), because very tough sanctions will follow.
Therefore, Putin will continue to carefully throw flammable materials to the Donbass so that Ukraine doesn’t show enough. But he cannot take any decisive action. Although Putin’s circle is surrounded by people who would like to escalate in order to win, to select, they are people who still think in Soviet categories.
