Trump helps Ahmadinejad regain power in Iran

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad decided to use the deteriorating economic situation in the country and the growing protest activity to return to the political horizon. Ahmadinejad’s activity has grown sharply in social networks and in the public field. Amid the failure of Rouhani’s policy to create a “zone of soft relations with the United States”, Ahmadinejad’s aggressive and harsh statements are popular among the population.

Ahmadinejad called the dollar one of the main pillars of US dominance in world trade and finance. The former chapter calls for a change in the current world order.

The ex-president of Iran wrote on his Twitter that the use of the US dollar as a universal monetary unit in world markets and in the global banking system is a key force of the American empire.

On the eve, information appeared that the leader and spiritual leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, plans to appoint 57-year-old Muhammad-Mahdi Mir Bakery as Imam of Tehran.

What is known about the future imam of the Iranian capital? The world of Bakery entered into active political life during the second term of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (2005-2013). He continued to support and defend conservative Ahmadinejad even after the latter began to adhere to the deviant Islamic tendency that Mesbah Yezdi denounced.

U.S. growing pressure on Iran has already led Ahmadinejad to power. It cannot be ruled out that for the second time such a US policy will play into the hands of the ex-president of Iran. Strengthening sanctions will further expand the ability of proponents of a tough stance in Tehran.

The argument for coercion suggests that the Iranian population, which suffers from a poorly managed economic system, will rebel against its government and force it to agree to 12 demands from Secretary Pompeo. This is a dream. No matter how wrong their government is, the Iranians are not going to put up with the United States against this. It is much more likely that more extreme anti-American voices will prevail. In the end, the same pressure that forced Iran to resume its nuclear program also led to the rule of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

French Parliament rejects no-confidence resolution

The resolution on no confidence in the French government did not receive the required number of votes in the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) and was rejected.

For the resolution filed by the center-right Republican Party, 143 votes were cast. Thus, she received half the number of votes than was required for approval by the lower house of parliament, according to the website of the National Assembly.

The resolution was put to a vote in connection with the dissatisfaction of both the right and left opposition with the actions of the authorities in the “case of Alexander Benall,” an employee of the presidential administration, who beat the protesters at the May Day demonstration.

Speaking before the deputies before the vote, the head of the Republicans faction in the National Assembly, Christian Jacob, said that the “French were shocked” by what was happening.

Jacob called the “Benall case” “extremely serious and shameful” and accused the authorities of trying to conceal it.
