Katie Holmes makes cardboard Halloween costume for Suri

But on Monday it was back to mom duties for Katie Holmes, 38, as she set to work making robot Halloween costumes for daughter Suri, 11, and her friends in Santa Monica, California.

Only last week she jetted to Italy to do some sightseeing.

The Batman Begins actress went sans makeup and seemed delighted with her handiwork, beaming with pride as she painted the inexpensive ‘boxtumes’.

Just last week, Katie was spotted in Verona, Italy, doing some sightseeing on her own.

Putting in a low-key appearance in oversized shades, the mother-of-one looked every inch the budding tourist as she wandered through the picturesque city.

She spent time in the romantic the setting of Shakespeare’s most famous love story, Romeo and Juliet, without her new flame, Jamie Foxx.

In September Katie Holmes and the Django Unchained star went public with their love for the first time four years after first sparking rumors of a tryst.

On Monday, Holmes took to Instagram to post a picture of herself laughing with production designer Brenda Abbandandolo on the set of Holmes’ directorial debut, All We Had, back in 2016.

The post is captioned ‘Having a laugh with @brenabban while filming #allwehad’.

The film had its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016 and had a limited theatrical release.
