Lesya Tsurenko lost in the first round of the Chinese tournament.
The second racket of Ukraine Lesya Tsurenko failed to pass the first round of the tournament in Tianjin, in which she was seeded under the seventh number.
In the first round, Tsurenko lost in two sets to the Chinese woman Duan Yingying 4: 6, 6: 7 (2). The match lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes.
In the first set, Tsurenko immediately missed her serve, but almost immediately won it back. However, in the seventh game Yingying made the second break and brought the game to victory.
In the second set Lesya started very well, made two breaks and took the lead 4: 0, but did not keep the advantage, lost four games in a row — 4: 4. As a result, in a tiebreak, the Ukrainian woman was able to win only two rallies, losing to the Chinese woman the right to play in the next round.
