For these reasons, the Rosselkhoznadzor cannot apply for the cancellation of the manufacturer’s warranties (declarations of product conformity). In addition, the authority of the service does not allow it to withdraw unsafe products from circulation and restrict their import into Russia.
The Rosselkhoznadzor considers it necessary to consider the possibility of amending the legislation that would make it possible to mitigate these risks, and within the framework of the existing powers, information letters were sent to the relevant control bodies, the Rosselkhoznadzor concludes.
