A participant in the Miss Mexico beauty pageant, Mexican model Jimena Ita, died under unknown circumstances. Reported by The Sun.
The body of a 21-year-old girl was found at her home on January 1. According to preliminary data, the model committed suicide, said Mexican police spokesman Mario Garcia. Other possible causes of death include drug overdose, the newspaper notes. It is also possible that the girl could be killed.
It is noted that the girl worked as a paramedic and studied to be a nurse in the city of Aguascalientes in the state of the same name. Among other things, the girl was the owner of the title «Miss Aguascalientes-2019». She planned to take part in the Miss Mexico 2021 pageant, which will take place on March 13th. The authorities have to investigate all the circumstances of the incident.
As the Mexican edition El Universal notes, the day before the farewell to the deceased took place. Parting with the model was attended by medical students with whom the model studied in the same course, as well as her friends and relatives.
In May 2019, Miss Uruguay 2006 title holder Fatimi Davila was found dead in a hotel in Mexico. It was noted that the woman could commit suicide.
